Fire Blanket
This type of fire extinguisher is used for fires within the kitchen. The small fires which can be caused by contents of a pan or someones clothes. They work by cutting off the oxygen supply.

Foam Extinguisher
This type of fire extinguisher uses foam to put out the fire. It is generally used for electrical fires. They work by sealing the surface of the fire, cutting the source and preventing spread.

Water Extinguisher
This form of fire extinguisher uses water to put out the fire. It is the most cost-effective way of putting out a fire as it is only water. It works by spraying jets of water over the fire. This is used for class A fires which are fuelled by solids such as wood.
